When I graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan, I took the time to build my craft at boutique ad agencies, and even ran my own design firm, I never thought I’d come full circle back to the basement to produce shows for a living.
But I like being the girl who gets the show on the road while color-coordinating all of the hats. Sure, I’m a little bit obsessive about the way things look and sound but that’s why I love being the one-woman wonder behind Conversations with Creative Minds.
What’s the secret to my success? Have plenty of Velcro strips on hand to keep the equipment cables tidy and keep a cattle prod close by in case the talent even thinks about getting testy!
